Curious what’s behind the Door?

I love doors. It always makes me wonder what is waiting on the other side of them. Images rush through my mind of beautiful furniture, a loving home, children running and jumping over the furniture, dogs running behind them. Most of all, laughter. I can hear the laughter bubbling out of people at the fun they are having.

Then of course, there is the spiritual aspect of what a door represents. Doors of opportunity. God planned out for you and I many years ago that we should work with Him building His Kingdom. We stand on the one side of the closed door anticipating what He has for us.

2 Corinthians 2:12 says When I came to the city of Troas to preach the Good News of Christ, the Lord opened a door of opportunity for me.”

Acts 14:27 Upon arriving in Antioch, they called the church together and reported everything God had done through them and how He had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles too.

In 2 Corinthians Paul is excited that God opened up a door of opportunity for him and in Acts the report was that God had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.

There are so many exciting doors of opportunity for us to walk through. Imagine for an instant the good work that God wants to do through you as you open the door and see what He has for you to do.
